Stan Williams III was convicted of murder and served a large portion of time in prison in solitary confinement which is a torturous exhausting experience. Before the state of California murdered Stan many people petitioned for his freedom.
He was even visited by our ancestor Winne Mandela during her lifetime.

At the time of his death Arnold Swarzenneger then Governor of California could have pardoned Stan and chose to murder him instead when he was executed on December 13, 2005 by lethal injection. Stanley Williams is also the last man to be executed in California. This is revolutionary in the eyes of reformist.
Tookie has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize five times and for the Nobel Prize for literature once. In 1993, he videotaped a message at San Quentin that was shown to 400 gang members, and he helped broker a truce between the rival Crips and Bloods gangs during the first-ever gang summit in Los Angeles.
