June 26, 2020 I went down to the Garner Police Department to retrieve my speaker. Although the case was tried and dismissed I was told by Garner Police Department that my certified copy of the court order proving that I was “NOT RESPONSIBLE” wasn’t enough. The police informed us we would also needed a court order for my belongings to be released.
On April 22, 2019 a warrant was obtained because I was listening to Malcolm X as I tended to my garden. The head of the cracker family, Don Barnett, called the 911 system of Wake County, North Carolina, where he was allowed to summon a posse of rouge police to again terrorize my family as they have done for the past 5 years.
I showed up to my block the same way I have always been. A force that minds her business, living life to the fullest, while allowing others to do the same.
The first speaker was taken from my family home on April 22, 2020. I reached out to the local NAACP and ACLU for assistance on the issue and both organizations refused to assist because non-profits funded by white benefactors will always side with white supremacy.
The problems with crackers calling the cops on myself and family is nothing new. One of the first instances of white aggression occurred back in 2015. I was outside with my daughter painting the doors and shutters on our house, not too long after, the police came out twice though they didn’t take my speaker that time.
In May of 2019 the DA of Wake County offered me a plea deal. If I took the deal all of my belongings that were stolen from our family would be returned to us. I would have to agree that my “neighbor” could now be my “overseer” and could call in a warrant at any time on me if he heard “ANY AMPLIFIED SPEECH” from my home.
Due to the fact that my mere presence alone brought the police out. I am again reminded that my living is a piece of my resistance. Next court date for the appeal of May 16, 2019 will be at the wake county justice center August 3, 2020.
Fast forward to June 29, 2020
I got back my speaker that was taken from me to silence me and to silence the clear and distinct voice of a man that knew what he was talking about obviously because he is still censored by white supremacists in 2020 – Malcolm X.
Black women and men this is a call to continue to live out loud wherever you are. Your voice matters. Under no circumstance can you allow for it to be silenced.
Stay controlling the pawns and rooks as them and false kings will fall Black Queen. You are the peace/piece they need.
